Who's behind this
An engineering studio that treats analytics as data engineering
Webclat builds and repairs the data layer companies make decisions on. The Amplitude practice is the newest room in a house built on enterprise analytics work.
What is Webclat?
Webclat is an independent data engineering studio specializing in analytics tracking and data collection - the unglamorous layer that decides whether every chart above it can be trusted. We run dedicated practices per platform: an Adobe Analytics consultancy serving enterprise clients, and this Amplitude practice. Each practice keeps its own depth; they share one engineering culture and one QA standard.
Why a dedicated Amplitude practice?
Because the failure patterns we spent years fixing in enterprise analytics - broken taxonomies, identity leaks, governance that exists on paper - are arriving in product analytics at scale, and the fix disciplines transfer directly. Our audit scoring rubric, tracking-plan format, and migration methodology all descend from enterprise engagements where the deliverable had to survive review by the client’s own data team.
Partner and independent - both, on purpose
Webclat is an official Amplitude partner: certified, current, and close to the product. We are also an independent consultancy that implements Segment, Adobe Analytics, GA4, and other event-analytics stacks, and the opinions, comparisons, and pricing analysis on this site are our own work, not Amplitude’s. That is a deliberate structure, not a disclaimer: it is what lets the comparison pages name a loser, the pricing guide tell you what is negotiable, and the fit consult occasionally end with “don’t buy anything - fix what you have.”
How we work
- Fixed scopes, named deliverables. Engagements are priced like engineering projects, not retainers.
- Evidence over opinion. Claims in our audits carry their measurement method; assumptions are labeled as assumptions.
- Your repo, your instance, your keys. Work happens in your systems; nothing about your data lives with us.
